CHAOS – High-Performance Database Engine for PHP Developers
![]() |
EXTROMEDIA is proud to release it’s latest product offering for PHP developers and enthusiasts.
CHAOS is a new, object-oriented database system, writen from the ground up as a PHP-native datastore. The CHAOS database software, developed for PHP 5 or greater, requires no additional libraries or extensions. It also avoids confusing and complex SQL queries as well. With CHAOS, SQL databases are a thing of the past. Unlike traditional (2-Dimensional) table-based database management systems, CHAOS uses PHP’s ability to serialize object data, and store it in an organized system for later retrieval. The object data is stored persistently, and can be queried, updated, and deleted using our built-in methods to access various datastores. Mulitple datastores can be created and accessed between servers and sites. Queries are as simple as looking up an ID for an object, yet offers complex features for standard REGEX to search objects of a specific object class. |
