Extromedia was birthed into existence by Robert J. Pope in March of 2000.

Robert has always had a passionate interest in computers and business since childhood. He has worked in the computing field since 1997, and has fulfilled his life-long dream of being a business owner and entrepreneur. He has a vast knowledge of computers from setting up and troubleshooting office networks to programming advanced web-based software. Robert is an avid reader, and is continually seeking to enhance his knowledge of software development languages and techniques. His latest quest is to develop a completely Javascript-based online-ordering system using AJAX and PHP connected to a custom database he’s been developing over the last year. He’s hoping to attract investors with his state-of-the-art software, and dreams of Google “buying him out” someday, or maybe “buying out” Google! Robert also looks forward to the day he can contribute some of his software to the Open Source community.
